The strong naturalistic character of the area has suggested a design approach aimed at proposing a dialogue with the preexistence inspired by the surrounding presence of such a beautiful landscape.

The complex is arranged as a small village that elevates its volumes on a landscaped basement. To recall the alpine tradition, the upper platform works as a small panoramic square surrounded by the three residential volumes. The lower level, dedicated to the collective functions, overlooks the valley on several sides defining its protected outdoor spaces. The thin vertical wood cladding of the ventilated façade confers a compact aspect to the building while the presence of the lodges and the vertical windows help to characterize the volume with a variety of shades of depth and transparency.
